Layering Art into Exceptional Interiors
Ryan Art Advisory recently partnered with Kati Curtis Design to curate a collection of contemporary artworks for a private residence in Tribeca, New York. Kati's richly layered, vibrant interiors created an inspiring context for a collection that feels both deeply personal and thoughtfully integrated into the home.
The collection features works by celebrated artists including Helen Frankenthaler, Jonas Wood, and Shara Hughes, each thoughtfully selected to complement the home's bold palette, texture, and materiality. The result is an environment where art and design work in dialogue, each strengthening the other.
This is one of several projects we've collaborated on with Kati Curtis Design. A LEED AP, Kati is known for creating interiors that are sustainable, sophisticated, and deeply livable, earning recognition in Architectural Digest, ELLE Decor, The Wall Street Journal, and beyond.

The Art That Stopped Us in Our Tracks
One of the greatest privileges of our work is experiencing art where it lives: inside museums, private collections, artist studios, and cultural institutions around the world. This summer, our team explored exhibitions across the United States and Europe, discovering artists, ideas, and installations that continue to influence how we think about collecting and curating.
Here are two exhibitions that left a lasting impression.
Athens, Greece
While in Athens, Ryan visited The Way We Live Now at the George Economou Collection, the institution's first contemporary group exhibition drawn entirely from its celebrated private collection. Co-curated by Pulitzer Prize winning writer Hilton Als and Ann Philbin, the exhibition brings together artists including Louise Bourgeois, David Hockney, Jenny Saville, Lorna Simpson, Charles Ray, and Henry Taylor. Through themes of identity, intimacy, and politics, the exhibition demonstrates how thoughtfully assembled collections can create compelling conversations across generations, mediums, and perspectives.
Paris, France
In Paris, Tiffany experienced Hilma af Klint: Paintings for the Temple (1906 to 1915) at the Grand Palais, presented in collaboration with the Centre Pompidou. The exhibition celebrates one of abstraction's true visionaries, whose groundbreaking work remained largely unseen for decades. Blending spirituality, scientific inquiry, and symbolism, af Klint challenged conventional ideas of painting and perception long before abstraction entered the mainstream. Seeing these monumental works together was a powerful reminder that some of the most influential artists are only fully recognized after their time.

Join Us in New York: The Armory Show
Javits Center | September 24–27, 2026
Each September, New York's art world reconvenes for The Armory Show, kicking off the fall season of international art fairs. Since 1994, the fair has brought together leading galleries from around the world, presenting exceptional works spanning modern and contemporary art while setting the tone for the city's fall cultural calendar.
Beyond the fair itself, New York comes alive with exhibitions, gallery openings, museum programming, auction previews, and satellite fairs, making it one of the most exciting weeks of the year for collectors and art enthusiasts alike. A highlight of the week is Independent 20th Century (September 24 to 27), a fair dedicated to important historical rediscoveries and thoughtfully curated presentations of twentieth-century art.
