ryan campBell | Founder
Ryan Campbell is the founder and principal of Ryan Art Advisory, where her curatorial eye and market expertise guide clients in building thoughtful contemporary art collections. Her career began at Sotheby’s, shaping a connoisseurial approach that continues to inform her work today. She studied Art History and Studio Art at Vanderbilt University, directed the Sarratt Gallery, and held a position at the National Museum of Women in the Arts, experiences that grounded her in both scholarship and practice.
Ryan partners closely with private, corporate, and hospitality clients, offering informed guidance across acquisition, curation, and collection management. Known for her discerning taste and relationship-driven philosophy, she sources significant works across a range of periods and styles. She also curates exhibitions in distinctive, nontraditional venues throughout Southern California, reflecting her belief that art should be both accessible and deeply resonant.
laura martin | advisor
Laura Martin brings over a decade of experience in the art industry, with roles in the Post-War and Contemporary departments at Christie’s New York and Bonhams Los Angeles, and most recently as Associate Director of Collector Sales at Artsy. She is a qualified art appraiser, providing USPAP-compliant appraisals, and advises new and established collectors on private sales, auction consignments, valuation, and long-term collection management.
Her expertise spans Post-War masters to emerging contemporary artists, with a particular focus on women artists and the California art scene. Laura holds a B.A. in Art History from Chapman University and an M.A. in the Modern and Contemporary Art Market from Christie’s Education.
