This month, The Advisory is pleased to present Sarah Ann Weber as our featured artist in the heart of Rancho Santa Fe. This RCG Artist Feature coincides with Sarah Ann Weber: I Know Her, the artist’s upcoming solo exhibition opening November 15 at Anat Ebgi, Los Angeles.
The four works on view at The Advisory offer collectors a rare opportunity to acquire a rising mid-career artist whose work is priced under $20,000. The show includes works in paint and colored pencil, on either panel or paper.
Weber’s paintings and drawings channel the landscape into something deeply personal—alive with emotion, rhythm, and movement. Rather than depicting nature as it appears, she captures its pulse—the energy that connects us to it. In doing so, Weber invites viewers to see the natural world as a reflection of our own complexity: beautiful, unpredictable, and endlessly compelling.

In Conversation with Merrick Adams
On October 11th, RCG Art Advisory hosted an intimate evening for The Presence in Paint, the second installment in our ongoing series of Southern California pop-up exhibitions. Set within a private La Jolla residence, the event brought together collectors, artists, and art enthusiasts for a conversation with featured artist Merrick Adams, whose work explores the fluid intersection of memory, emotion, and the natural world through abstraction. Guests enjoyed a guided walkthrough of the exhibition, which features sixteen contemporary artists whose practices collectively reaffirm painting’s enduring power and versatility.
The highlight of the evening was an engaging conversation between Merrick Adams and Ryan Garrett, offering guests an inside look at the artist’s early influences, the evolution of his practice, and the journey that brought him—and his equally talented wife, artist Kate Pincus-Whitney—to Los Angeles. The discussion illuminated the deeply personal and painterly sensibility that defines Adams’s work. An active Q&A followed, giving local collectors the opportunity to connect directly with the artist and gain deeper insight into his creative process.
