Merrick Adams (b. 1992, Virginia Beach, VA) is a painter and printmaker whose meditative surfaces evoke oceanic rhythms. His solo exhibitions include Soft Stars Hard Thunder at Turn Gallery, New York, and Cryptic Coloration at Scott Miller Projects, Birmingham, AL, with group exhibitions spanning Switzerland and major U.S. cities. Working through layered woodcut and screen-print techniques, Adams’s paintings explore light, water, and pattern, blending familial memoir with natural abstraction.
