Maja Dlugolecki / the presence in paint

Maja Dlugolecki (b. 1992, Portland, OR) is an intuitive abstract painter whose layered, emotionally resonant canvases function as visual journals. Her solo exhibitions in San Francisco and New York, presented with Lobster Club, are complemented by group exhibitions at Frieze Los Angeles, Miami Art Basel, and in Mexico City. Dlugolecki also spearheads the Lobster Club collective and residency series.
