Kristen Giorgi / the presence in paint

Kristen Giorgi (b. 1984) draws on her background in fashion and design to create expressive, abstract-figurative paintings on custom linen. Mixing pigments directly on the studio floor, she builds surfaces rich in texture, gesture, and emotional energy. Her exhibitions include Transcendence and In the Echo at Arden + White Gallery, Connecticut, as well as group presentations with Lobster Club, NADA New York, and SCOPE Miami. Giorgi lives and works in Atlanta, GA.
