Holly Osborne / the presence in paint

Holly Osborne (b. Portland, OR) paints both representational and abstract works with a meditative sensibility, often rooted in direct observation. Drawing from local walks as well as residencies in Sicily and France, her compositions balance careful detail with painterly improvisation. Her 2025 solo exhibition Garden Party at Froelick Gallery continues her exploration of nature’s beauty through dreamlike, intuitive forms. Osborne holds an MA in Art Education from Portland State University.
